The big shell trip yesterday delivered plenty of fish as usual. As it was the last day of fishing, the fishing was stopped around 2 pm, but before that it came up well with fish. Many large cod were landed and also several large ling where the largest weighed a fine 18.5 kg. As usual, saithe was in abundance, both small and large. Halibut fishing was a bit tougher, but some decent fish were landed. Had they fished for a longer time under rising water, there would probably have been significantly more flounder.

It was the third Storskalltar trip in September this year. It just feels like a matter of time before a really big flounder lands.
