Guinea Bissau

"Hi there!! Would just like to say a very big thank you from the both of us. By far the best place and experience we’ve ever had. It ended up more than fishing. We seen the culture and met great people and the food was amazing too. Pepe, maxi and zay were great. We couldn’t of asked for better people on the boat. They took us to the best places and every place we fished we caught many fish. So we owe them a big thanks. We had a great laugh together an made friends we’ll never forget. I would recommend this place to any fishermen that want to seek that extra level of fishing. The only one bad thing about the holiday was having to come home. We could of stayed there for the rest of our days!! We enjoyed the visit to the village an it was an honour to meet the village leader. Was a big eye opener to see they way they lived. The orango Island in Guinea Bissau is a truly amazing place and if I won the lottery I’d be sure to buy a house there or on one of the neighbouring island!! So we’ll say a big thank you to Pepe, maxi, zay and everyone at world sport fishing for a truly amazing and unforgettable trip!! This will be hard to match"

Canada – Salmon & Sturgeon Fishing

Dear Richard,

Thank you for an excellent fishing trip which was absolutely brilliant. Chris and our guide Steve looked after us and nothing was too much trouble.

Although Sturgeon was our main quarry on arrival, its not surprising how easy it was to be swayed into the Salmon fishing. As well as catching lots of big Sturgeon, we also caught Pink and Sockeye Salmon up to 7.00 plus, Chum to 25.00 plus, and Chinook to 35.00 plus.

In all honest Richard, this trip has been the best foreign trip I have ever experienced and I have travelled far and wide in search of weird and wonderful species over the years. Both Bob and I will be returning in 2007 when the Pinks run again. Once again mate, Thank You!”

Many thanks to you and Jo for arranging this brilliant holiday for us. We are already thinking about next year and the possibility of a fishing holiday in the Florida Keys at Islamorada….

Best wishes – David

Bijagos – Guinea Bissau

Firstly Vin and I would like to thank you very much for our wonderful trip to Guinea-Bissau, the fishing was fantastic. Also the arrangements and logistics ran like clockwork. After working 20 years in Africa and 13 years in the Middle East, I understand that that does not happen by chance but by meticulous planning and organizing our African brothers.

Guinea Bissau

Hi Richard,

Having just returned from our fantastic Guinea Bissau fishing adventure with you I would just like to say a big thank you from Matt, Dave and I. The ‘Stella’ organization was great from the moment we stepped off the plane at Banjul Airport until our sad return 10 days later. The fishing was everything you said it would be and a lot more! Tarpon to 200lb plus and several 25lb Jacks every day. The variety of species was amazing; my tally was 18 species in 8 days of fishing. The boats were as good as they get with excellent skippers and the Acunda Fishing Camp was ideally situated on its own small private island. We will certainly be back in the near future.

Many, many thanks again for a GREAT fishing adventure.

Trevor, Matt and Dave
