Thanks go out to Lou flip flop for stepping outside of his comfort zone, Travelling halfway around Europe to join me in Casablanca for the next flight towards Guinea Bissau and a long boat ride to our camp and for making the fishing safari such an enjoyable, fun and amazing adventure, never to be forgotten even though bloody Royal air Maroc lost all of his luggage!

Really enjoyed the Jack Crevalle carpaccio raw fish on the boat, thanks Max.

Thanks also to Shimano for making great reels, Pepe from The Gambia for being the perfect gentleman guide, Sadu and Max from Senegal for great skippering skills and Hassan from The Gambia for strength and knowledge as our deckhand and Richard Sheard for having the balls to find and set up an operation like this!

Need to talk with you sometime Richard.

Amazing adventures staying on Orango island to fish the lush warm waters around the Bijagos islands dotted with incredible Caribbean shaming deserted beaches.
Ate loads of fresh fish that we caught, gave tons of fish to the local Bijago people for the king to share amongst his tribe according to needs and rotation, saw wildlife of many sorts, were accompanied by big dolphins on many occasions while they checked out if we were catching more than them!
Some of the fish caught included, Snappers ( several varieties), Groupers ( several varieties), Guitarfish, Cobia, Barracuda, Spanish Mackerel, Cassava, Captain fish, Jack crevalle, Yar boi, Bonefish and Pla pla.

Think we may have briefly tangled with Tarpon but thats another story! Thank you Chris & Lou
