Palm Grove Hotel

Last year, we were delighted to re-introduce this hotel to our brochure after an absence of many years. Under new ownership the hotel has undergone an imaginative makeover using local craftsmen to create a distinctive flavour. The spacious pool leads directly to small sandy beach beside an enclosed tidal lagoon. The gardens have been beautifully laid out to enhance the views beyond the hotel garden to the lagoon.

The accommodation is arranged in either single or two storey buildings, each room having its own small balcony or patio. The surprisingly spacious interiors reflect an Afro/Caribbean style and a refreshing attention to little details enhance the otherwise simply furnished hotel.

Breakfast and evening meal are served buffet style in the Breezers Restaurant, whilst the Traders Grill Bar is available for poolside snacks during the day. The hotel is isolated, about 3km from Banjul which has very little to offer in the way of bars, restaurants etc. This hotel will appeal to those looking for a relaxing, hotel based holiday.
