Amazon Rainforest Explorer Camp Trip

Imagine drifting down river, deep in the Amazon rainforest, just you, your fishing buddy and a guide, surrounded by spectacular rainforest. Macaws squawking overhead, Toucans calling to each other from the treetops, rivers filled with rocks and boulders (some with ancient Indian petro-glyphic markings), roaring white water over cascades and wateAmazon5rfalls, sandy beaches, slow stretches with deep holes and shallow, inlets and streams, primary and secondary jungle with tall fruiting trees and with such an abundance of wildlife all around, we have it all for you.

The mobile camp is set up on the banks of the river on an island surrounded by rapids and cascades and under tree canopy to keep cool. The camp is totally self-sufficient in every way. Only a few privileged travellers have ever been here in the past and we are the only outfitters to be able to fish in what can only be described as a magical landscape. This beautiful river is surrounded by primary forest and winds its way through miles of deep stretches and many cascades, waterfalls and fast white water.

There is four separate twin tents with cot beds and sheets, handling a maximuAmazon4m of only 8 anglers at any one time. A separated area is screened off with a running shower and flushable toilet and the local Indian guides and staff sleep apart and under the forest canopy. An area is set up for the ‘dining room’ and the kitchen supplies cold drinks and hot food to our guests on the spot. Laundry is done daily.

This river is over 350 miles long and has provided only a handful of avid sport anglers with high daily numbers of many of the Amazon’s multi-species predators and giant Catfish.

Overall there is no other type of fishing trip that can offer so many different methods of fishing for such a diversity of freshwater fish species all in the same week.

A once in a lifetime escape to another world of virgin jungle fishing with native South Ameriacan Indians as you hosts and guides.
