A web of trails crisscross the forest, intersecting many varied habitats and allowing the guests to get close to more than 500 different species of Birds.

4 main rivers flow within striking distance of the Camp - The Roosevelt, Madeirinha, Machadinho, Cujubimand and many other smaller tributaries give life and access to the whole area.

We also have some remote lodges which the clients are free to use for those who want to get even closer to nature and spend the night deep in the forest. There is also an observation lookout which is almost 300m high and offers a 360º view of the forest grandeur. It's also one of the preferred places for watching birds. You can spot various species of animals on the river banks, such as wildcats, large Tapirs, Wild boar, Pacas, Aagoutis, and Deer.
